Privacy
This page explains what the website receives, where it goes, and how to ask about it or have it deleted. Last updated 5 November 2026.
What the enquiry form collects
The enquiry form has five fields: your name (required), a phone number or email address (required), the instrument you are interested in, the child's age, and a message. The last three are optional, and the short version of the form has no message field.
The form also records which page you sent it from, so we know which lesson you were reading about. There is one hidden anti-spam field that visitors never see; only automated scripts fill it in, and any submission that does is discarded without being sent to anyone.
Where it goes
When you submit the form, its contents are written into an email and sent through the email service Resend to the school's inboxes. The email contains everything you entered, the time it was sent (Melbourne time) and the page it came from. It is sent from website@haydnmusiccenter.com.au, and if the contact you gave is an email address, replying to the email reaches you directly. Resend processes the message in order to deliver it, under its own privacy policy.
The website is also set up to post the same enquiry to a WeCom (企业微信) group used by the school. That channel is currently switched off. We will update this page when it is turned on.
The website keeps no record of enquiries
The website has no database and stores no enquiry. What you entered exists only in the email the school receives. If sending fails, the server records an error log that names the channel and the type of error, never your name or contact details.
Analytics
We use Vercel Web Analytics to count visits and Vercel Speed Insights to measure how fast pages load. According to Vercel's own notes, they record roughly the page address, where the visit came from, country, device type and loading times. They do not record names or contact details. Vercel's notes:
- https://vercel.com/docs/speed-insights/privacy-policy
We also count a few actions: taps on phone and email links, opening the enquiry window or switching its tabs, and whether an enquiry was sent or failed. These counts carry only the page address, the instrument or tab chosen, the delivery channel or the reason for failure. They never include your name, contact details, age or message.
Google Ads conversion tracking
This is only switched on while the school is running Google Ads. When it is off, ad tracking loads no Google script and sets no Google advertising cookies.
When it is on, the website loads Google's gtag.js and Google sets cookies in your browser to work out whether an enquiry or a phone tap came from an ad. The conversion the website sends says only that "an enquiry happened" or "a phone tap happened" and carries no form contents. How Google uses this data is described in Google's own pages:
The Google map on the studio page
The Box Hill studio page embeds a Google Map. When you open that page, your browser loads the map from Google, and Google may receive information about your visit, under Google's own privacy policy:
No other page embeds Google content. The site's fonts are served from our own server, not loaded from Google.
WeChat and phone
If you contact us by scanning our WeChat code or by phone, your message travels through WeChat or your phone carrier, not through this website, and their own terms and privacy policies apply.
Asking about your information, or having it deleted
To ask what we have received from you, or to have it deleted, email sales@haydnmusiccenter.com or call 0410 957 668.
