PIANO TEACHER

Winnie Chih-Wei Kuo, a talented pianist with a passion for classical music. Ms. Kuo received her bachelor's degree from Tunghai University in Taiwan and her master's degree from the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music. Currently, she is pursuing her PhD in music performance at the University of Melbourne under a full scholarship, studying with Dr. Thomas Linde and Associate Professor Jerry Wong.

 

Ms. Kuo's strong technical and musical competency has been recognized by Prof. Dylan Savage, Bösendorfer Concert Artist and Associate Professor at University of North Carolina at Charlotte, who praised her performance as "a very gifted young pianist."
 

Ms. Kuo is also a renowned collaborator for chamber music, choral, opera, and orchestra, having served as the opera pianist for Tunghai University and the rehearsal pianist for the University chorus. Her unique personality portrayed through her performance has won her numerous awards, including the Piano Concerto Competition at Tunghai University in 2018 and being named alternate winner in the 2018 Concerto Competition at Kent State University in the US.

With over 7 years of teaching experience, Ms. Kuo is an established piano teacher and currently serves as a Piano Instrumental Tutor at Mount Scopus Memorial College in Australia.
